meaghan kirby to serve as CELA president | garrison law

Garrison Law is pleased to announce that Associate Meaghan Kirby will serve as the president of the Connecticut Employment Lawyers Association (CELA), beginning this year. Meaghan follows in the footsteps of CELA’s immediate past president and Garrison Law partner, Amanda DeMatteis, who served in the role from 2017-2024.

Meaghan Kirby, who formerly served as CELA’s treasurer, represents Connecticut employees, both inside and outside of the courtroom. She has been a Connecticut SuperLawyers Rising Star since 2023, a distinction given only to 2.5% of Connecticut attorneys under the age of 40, and is an active member of the National Employment Lawyers Association and the Connecticut Bar Association.

CELA is a nonprofit organization for Connecticut employment lawyers who share the mission of providing quality representation to employees and vindicating employees’ rights. To learn more about the organization, click here.
