On Thursday, March 12, 2026, our partner Nina Pirrotti spoke at the American Bar Association’s Employment Rights and Responsibilities (ERR) Committee Midwinter Meeting and National Symposium on Technology in Labor and Employment Law in Nashville, TN.

This four-day conference presents cutting-edge programs about developing technologies that will impact the legal profession and the ethics and privacy concerns that are raised by their use.

Nina’s presentation, entitled “Legal Implications of Artificial Intelligence in Recruitment and Hiring,” explored the legal and ethical challenges posed by the use of AI in employment decision-making during recruiting, screening, and interviewing, from algorithmic bias and disparate impact liability to compliance with emerging federal, state, and international regulations.

The discussion was moderated by Aaron Holt of Cozen O’Connor, and included co-speakers William Bensussen of SAG-AFTRA, and Ron Martinez of Vanderbilt University.
