Josh Goodbaum speaking at the CBIA Employment Law Conference | Garrison Law

Earlier this week, our partner Josh Goodbaum spoke at the 2025 Connecticut Business & Industry Association (CBIA) Employment Law Conference, where approximately 250 Connecticut business owners, in-house counsel, and human resources professionals explored how labor and employment legislation is made, how to navigate employee accommodation requests, best practices for workplace investigations, strategies for harnessing artificial intelligence in the modern workplace, and more.

Josh’s presentation, entitled “How Not to Get a Letter from a Plaintiff’s Attorney,” discussed the common employer mistakes that result in litigation and provided perspective and insight on how employee rights lawyers think about discrimination, retaliation, and wage and hour complaints.
