Last week, Garrison Law partner Josh Goodbaum spoke at the Connecticut Bar Association’s 2023 Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Summit: The Collaborative Blueprint. The event took place at UConn Law. Along with other leaders of the Bar, Josh participated in a plenary panel on “The State of the Connecticut Legal Community’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Journey.” Josh addressed the U.S. Supreme Court’s recent decisions prohibiting affirmative action in higher education admissions and discussed the ways that these decisions might apply in the employment context.

The panelists also took stock of the collective, organizational, and individual DEI efforts of the past, present, and future. Learn more about the event here.
