Josh Goodbaum to Speak About Hot Topics in Employment Law at Connecticut Legal Conference

Garrison Law partner Josh Goodbaum will be a speaker at the Connecticut Legal Conference (CLC) on June 5, 2023.

Along with Allison P. Dearington (speaker) from Jackson Lewis PC, and Zachary D. Schurin (moderator) from Pullman & Comley LLC, Josh will present on “The Next Frontiers in Labor and Employment Law: Pay Transparency, Non-Competes, Arbitration Clauses, and Non-Disclosure Agreements.”

Among other topics, the program will cover Connecticut and other laws concerning the disclosure of salary ranges, the Federal Trade Commission’s efforts to ban non-competes, new federal laws concerning arbitration for certain types of employment law claims, and the National Labor Relations Board’s McLaren Macomb decision concerning confidentiality and non-disparagement covenants in settlement agreements.

Organized by the Connecticut Bar Association and located at the Connecticut Convention Center, the CLC is the largest annual legal gathering in Connecticut.
