Nina Pirrotti Featured in ABA Podcast on AI Tools and Labor Law
Garrison Law Partner Nina Pirrotti was recently featured in an American Bar Association podcast episode discussing artificial intelligence tools, labor law, and the legal issues employers, employees, and attorneys should be thinking about as AI becomes more common in the workplace.
The episode, which also featured Nina’s favorite sparring partner and venerated management -side lawyer Dan Schwartz from Shipman & Goodwin, focused on the legal guardrails surrounding AI tools in employment settings, including how emerging technology may affect hiring, screening, evaluation, monitoring, management, and workplace decision-making.
As employers increasingly use AI-driven tools, important questions arise about discrimination, transparency, privacy, accountability, and compliance with existing labor and employment laws. These issues are especially important for employees and job applicants whose opportunities, working conditions, or careers may be affected by automated systems.
Nina’s participation in this ABA podcast reflects her continued thought leadership on emerging workplace issues and her ongoing work advocating for employees and individuals throughout Connecticut.
Garrison Law is proud of Nina’s contribution to this important national conversation about technology, labor law, and employee rights.
