On October 27, Garrison, Levin-Epstein, Fitzgerald & Pirrotti, P.C. Partner Joshua Goodbaum will interview legal journalist and author Emily Bazelon about recent developments at the U.S. Supreme Court. The interview will be part of the 11th biennial District of Connecticut Bench-Bar Conference, organized by the Connecticut Bar Association Federal Practice Section.

The conference, which also includes presentations about the State of the District and the State of the Second Circuit, as well as other panels, is open to the public. Those interested in attending can register here.

Emily Bazelon is a staff writer for The New York Times Magazine and the Truman Capote Fellow for Creative Writing and Law at Yale Law School. She is the co-host of Slate’s “Political Gabfest” and the author of two books, including – most recently – Charged: The New Movement to Transform American Prosecution and End Mass Incarceration, which won the Los Angeles Times Book Prize in 2019.
