Garrison Law was recently featured in a Hartford Business Journal article examining how artificial intelligence is changing the way consumers search for professional services, including legal representation.
In the article, Hartford Business Journal asked five major AI platforms the same question: “Recommend a Connecticut employment attorney for a senior executive negotiating severance.” The publication compared responses from ChatGPT, Claude, Google AI Mode, Microsoft Copilot, and Perplexity to better understand how AI-generated recommendations differ across platforms.
Among the firms identified, Garrison Law stood out as the only employment law firm ranked as the top recommendation by more than one AI platform. Both Claude and Google AI selected Garrison Law as their No. 1 recommendation.
Garrison Law partner Josh Goodbaum told Hartford Business Journal that the firm does not specifically optimize for AI platforms. Instead, he explained, the firm focuses on providing outstanding legal representation and helpful information for employees, executives, and professionals navigating workplace issues.
“The best marketing strategy is to do great legal work and to provide useful resources to the public,” Goodbaum said.
Goodbaum also noted that, over the past six months, Garrison Law has seen an increase in prospective clients reporting that they found the firm through AI-powered search tools.
