Attorney Nina Pirrotti was quoted by WTNH regarding the latest allegations involving CSCU Interim Chancellor O. John Maduko

May 23 2026

HARTFORD, Conn. — Nina Pirrotti, attorney at Garrison Law, recently appeared on WTNH News 8 to discuss allegations of sexual harassment involving former Connecticut State Colleges and Universities (CSCU) Interim Chancellor O. John Maduko, as additional claims and public scrutiny surrounding the matter continue to emerge statewide.

According to publicly reported information, the allegations involve claims of repeated inappropriate and sexualized communications directed toward CSCU employees over an extended period of time. Public reporting further indicates that Mr. Maduko resigned following an internal investigation into alleged policy violations and amid growing calls for institutional accountability.

Pirrotti, who represents employees connected to the matter, emphasized that the issue extends beyond individual allegations and raises broader concerns regarding workplace culture, reporting structures, and institutional oversight within public higher education systems.

“Justice is, for both of my clients, about accountability, about ensuring that all of the facts come out, and it’s about fixing a broken system,” Pirrotti said during the interview.

State officials and members of the Board of Regents have since publicly acknowledged the seriousness of the allegations, with reports indicating that outside consultants have been retained to conduct an independent review into both the alleged conduct and the institutional response.

Garrison Law represents employees throughout Connecticut in matters involving workplace harassment, discrimination, retaliation, hostile work environments, whistleblower claims, and employment-related disputes. The firm remains committed to advocating for accountability, transparency, and the protection of employee rights in both the public and private sectors.
