Garrison Law Partner Nina Pirrotti Addresses Expanding Public Allegations Involving Former CSCU Interim Chancellor | Continued Coverage
HARTFORD, Conn. — Partner Nina Pirrotti represents both women who have come forward with sexual harassment allegations involving former CSCU Interim Chancellor O. John Maduk.
Recent reporting indicates that four complaints have now been filed involving the former interim chancellor, including allegations relating to sexual harassment, inappropriate workplace communications, and hostile workplace conduct within the CSCU system over an extended period of time.
Mr. Maduko resigned earlier this year amid ongoing scrutiny and investigations concerning alleged misconduct. Investigative materials previously referenced in public reporting described communications that investigators characterized as inappropriate in nature.
State officials and members of the CSCU Board of Regents have since publicly acknowledged the seriousness of the allegations and announced additional independent review efforts concerning both the alleged conduct and the institutional response surrounding the matter.
Media Coverage Continues to Expand
As public attention surrounding this matter grows, Nina Pirrotti appeared on NBC Connecticut this evening to address the ongoing developments. Her commentary came as the newly appointed CSCU Board of Regents chair faced criticism from students and faculty at a public meeting, underscoring that scrutiny of institutional leadership and accountability within the CSCU system remains very much alive. Ms. Pirrotti continues to advocate publicly on behalf of her clients and for systemic reform within the CSCU system.
