Stephen J. Fitzgerald Named 2017 Lawyer of the Year by Best Lawyers

Garrison, Levin-Epstein, Fitzgerald & Pirrotti, P.C. Partner Stephen J. Fitzgerald was recently named by Best Lawyers in America as the 2017 Lawyer of the Year for Employment Law – Individuals for New Haven, Connecticut.

Fitzgerald, who received the same honor in 2013 and won 2015 Lawyer of the Year for Litigation – Labor and Employment in New Haven, is an accomplished trial advocate. He has served as lead counsel in more than 40 jury trials. He has represented employees in wrongful termination, discrimination, breach of contract, defamation, and non-compete cases. He has represented a large variety of workers — from company executives and CEOS to janitors.

One of the oldest and most respected peer review publications, Best Lawyers has published its list for more than three decades, earning the respect of the profession, the media, and the public as the most reliable, unbiased source of legal referrals. Its first international list was published in 2006 and since then has grown to provide lists in more than 70 countries.
