Garrison, Levin-Epstein, Fitzgerald & Pirrotti, P.C. is pleased to announce Attorney Amanda M. DeMatteis has been named Partner at the firm.

Attorney Amanda DeMatteis represents individuals in litigation, particularly employment, personal injury, and workers’ compensation. She represents employees in both state and federal courts in a wide variety of employment matters, including wrongful termination, discrimination (on the basis of pregnancy, sex, race, age, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, religion or national origin), sexual harassment, defamation, retaliation, and hostile work environment. Attorney DeMatteis has successfully tried multiple cases to verdict in both employment and personal injury matters.

With Partner Stephen Fitzgerald, Attorney Amanda DeMatteis manages the firm’s personal injury practice, representing injured individuals in all aspects of litigation. From motor vehicle accidents and slip and falls, to dog bites and motorcycle accidents, Attorney DeMatteis frequently helps clients recover money damages for injuries caused by others.

A Connecticut SuperLawyer Rising Star since 2015, Attorney DeMatteis proudly serves as the President of the Connecticut Employment Lawyers Association (CELA), an organization for attorneys who represent employees in all aspects of employment law in Connecticut. Attorney DeMatteis is an active member of the National Employment Lawyers Association (NELA) as an Affiliate Leader and the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association (CTLA) as the Co-Chair of the Employment Law Section. Attorney DeMatteis is also a member of the American Bar Association (ABA) and serves as a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation (ABF).
