Garrison, Levin-Epstein, Fitzgerald & Pirrotti, P.C. Partner Nina T. Pirrotti recently spoke at a panel discussion entitled “Examining Sanctionable Conduct: Rule 11 From a Plaintiff Employment Lawyer’s Perspective,” during the American Bar Association Employee Rights & Responsibilities Committee 2017 Midwinter Conference in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
The panel discussed the different types of sanctionable conduct and used actual labor and employment cases as examples. The discussion also provided advice from top employment lawyers on how to avoid sanctions or how to use them against an opposing party.
Pirrotti is the Co-Chair of the Employee Privacy Subcommittee, which focuses on issues that may arise out of the intersection of privacy and employment lawyer. Her co-panelists included Judge Bernice B. Donald of the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, Senior Trial Attorney Camille Monahan of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and Charles R. Bacharach of Gordon Feinblatt LLC.
