Five Garrison Law Attorneys Recognized in 2026 Best Lawyers in America®

The Best Lawyers in America® has recognized five attorneys at Garrison Law for our work fighting for the rights of Connecticut’s employees, with two partners selected for the “Lawyer of the Year” award.

Steve Fitzgerald was named the 2026 New Haven “Lawyer of the Year” for Litigation – Labor and Employment. He previously received this honor, which is given to just one lawyer for each specialty in each metropolitan area, in 2013, 2015, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2021, and 2024. In addition, Steve was recognized for his work in the categories of Employment Law – Individuals; Litigation – ERISA; and Personal Injury Litigation – Plaintiffs.

Josh Goodbaum was named the 2026 New Haven “Lawyer of the Year” for Employment Law – Individuals. He previously received this honor in 2022, 2023, and 2025. In addition, Josh was named a Best Lawyer in the category of Litigation – Labor and Employment.
